The quality of forged steel parts is higher than that of cast steel parts, and they can withstand large impact forces. The diameter of forged steel stop valves is generally not more than DN80, and most of them are reduced-diameter designs. Compared with cast steel stop valves of the same diameter, the flow rate is slightly lower, but the pressure and temperature range they can withstand are higher than those of cast steel valves, and their sealing performance is much better than that of cast steel stop valves, and their service life is longer. Like other stop valves, they are subject to the restrictions of the flow direction of the medium. Forged steel stop valves can be divided into straight-through stop valves (type stop valves) and direct-flow stop valves (Y-type stop valves) according to installation positions.
